Chapter 56.9: Old Bastard

“God! Since when did my pure and obedient baby Angela become this open and bold? Embracing an unfamiliar young man in public? Did she forget that she’ll become the future queen of the kingdom? Or did something magical happen since I left Chambord?”

Bast felt jumpy as he thought about it.

He felt that he needed to remind his silly daughter to never be tricked by the playful and charming words of a young man. Bast rushed to the gap on the bridge and intentionally yelled, “Hey Angela, my sweetheart! I’m back!”

First, we would like to sincerely apologize about the chapter release confusions lately. The author of HTK are really flexible with chapter lengths, sometimes it’s 4k Chinese words, and sometimes it can even double. Our translator Udon sometimes don’t have the time to finish a complete chapter on time, so he had been trying his best to translate as much as possible and releasing it as partial chapters to make sure you guys have some HTK to read almost everyday.

Anyways, after a talk with Yudong, we decided to follow the Raw chapter length from now on to simply avoid confusion, but if the raw chapter is 3000+ English words long, we will be releasing it as two separate chapters. For tomorrow, the HTK release will be one full chapter plus the last bit left from today’s chapter, so around 2-3k words in total.
