Neru spent days searching for information on the nobleman, but he was careful to avoid drawing attention to himself. He moved cautiously through the city, always watching his back.

Finally, he learned the nobleman’s name: Lord Argos. He was said to live in a grand estate on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by guards and servants.

Neru knew that he couldn’t approach the estate openly. He needed a plan.

He spent days observing the estate, watching the guards and trying to find a weakness. Finally, he saw an opportunity.

One night, as the guards changed shifts, Neru slipped through a gap in the fence and made his way to the back of the estate. He found a window that was slightly ajar and slipped inside.

He found himself in a grand hallway, lined with paintings and tapestries. He tiptoed down the hallway, trying to stay quiet.

Suddenly, he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around and saw a guard coming towards him.

Neru didn’t hesitate. He focused his energy and sent a blast of energy towards the guard, knocking him out cold.

He continued down the hallway, heart racing. He didn’t know what he would find, but he knew he had to keep going.
