Crown of Rebirth - Chapter 4
As they approached Tigre, Vivian explained that it was a large, bustling city with a mix of cultures and races. It was known for its marketplaces, where vendors from all over the world came to sell their wares.
Neru felt overwhelmed as they entered the city gates. There were so many people and so much noise. He clung to Vivian’s side, feeling like a child again. But she led him through the crowds with confidence, and soon they were in the heart of the city.
They passed by vendors selling food, clothing, and trinkets. Neru was fascinated by the colorful fabrics and intricate jewelry. He had never seen such things before.
Vivian stopped at a stall selling spices and began to haggle with the vendor. Neru watched in awe as she bargained over the price and finally walked away with a small bag of spices.
As they continued walking, Neru saw a group of guards patrolling the streets. They wore armor and carried swords, and Neru couldn’t help but feel a twinge of fear. He didn’t know if he would ever feel safe again.
