Eternal Wedding - Chapter 1
James stood at the altar, his heart beating fast in his chest as he waited for his bride-to-be, Emily, to walk down the aisle. He couldn’t believe that this day had finally come – the day he had been dreaming of since the moment he met her.
As the music began to play, James turned to look down the aisle, and his heart skipped a beat. Emily looked stunning in her white wedding dress, her auburn hair falling in soft waves around her shoulders. He felt a lump form in his throat as she approached him, her eyes shining with happiness.
“Hi,” she whispered, taking his hand in hers.
“Hi,” James replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
As the ceremony began, James felt a sense of peace and happiness he had never felt before. He and Emily had been through so much to get to this point, and he knew that nothing could tear them apart.
But as the reception began, James’ happiness was short-lived. He watched as Emily danced with their friends and family, her smile lighting up the room. But suddenly, disaster struck.
There was a loud crash, and James turned to see a chandelier falling from the ceiling, heading straight towards Emily. He shouted her name, but it was too late. The chandelier crashed down on top of her, killing her instantly.
James couldn’t believe what he was seeing. This couldn’t be happening – it had to be a nightmare. But as he looked around the room, he saw the horror on the faces of their guests. The once-beautiful reception hall was now a scene of chaos and destruction, with broken glass and debris scattered everywhere.
Suddenly, everything went black.
When James opened his eyes again, he was lying in his bed, his heart racing. He sat up, his mind still reeling from the nightmare he had just had. But as he looked around his room, he realized that it wasn’t a nightmare – he was back at the beginning of his wedding day.
He tried to make sense of what was happening, but it was like trying to grasp a slippery fish. He couldn’t explain why he was reliving the same day over and over again. But he knew one thing for sure – he couldn’t let Emily die again.
James got out of bed and went to the window, looking out at the city below. He knew he had to do something different this time, something that would prevent the tragedy that had taken Emily’s life. But what could he do?
As he thought about it, he realized that he needed to hire security guards. He couldn’t risk anything happening to Emily, and if he had security guards on hand, they could prevent any accidents from happening.
Feeling hopeful, James got dressed and headed out to find a security company. He spent the morning talking to different companies, trying to find the right one. Finally, he settled on a company that seemed reliable and professional, and he hired two guards to be on duty at the reception.
With the guards in place, James felt a sense of relief. He knew that he had done everything he could to prevent the tragedy that had befallen Emily in the previous timeline. Now, he just had to wait for the reception to begin and hope that everything went smoothly.
As the guests began to arrive, James felt a sense of déjà vu. He had seen all of this before, but this time it was different. He had taken action, he had done something to change the course of events. And for a while, it seemed like everything was going according to plan.
The reception was beautiful, and Emily was radiant. James felt like he was on top of the world, and he knew that this time, nothing could go wrong. But then, it did.
