I Miss You - Chapter 4
One day, as John was walking through the forest, he heard a familiar voice calling out to him. It was his daughter’s voice, the daughter who had passed away twenty years ago. He had never fully come to terms with her death, and the sound of her voice sent shivers down his spine.
He followed the voice, unsure of what to expect. As he walked, he noticed that the forest seemed different. The colors were brighter, and the air felt charged with energy.
He came to the clearing where he had first met Sarah, and there she was, sitting on the log. But this time, she looked different. She was no longer the young girl he had met days ago; she was a grown woman, with his daughter’s face.
John felt like he was dreaming. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He walked closer to her, and she smiled at him with his daughter’s smile.
“Dad,” she said, her voice soft and gentle. “It’s so good to see you.”
John felt tears streaming down his face. He reached out to touch her, and his hand went right through her. He realized that this was not his daughter, but a manifestation of her spirit.
“I miss you so much,” John said, his voice cracking with emotion.
“I know,” Sarah said. “But I’ve been with you this whole time. Watching over you and making sure you’re okay.”
John looked at her, his heart full of love and longing. He felt like he had been given a second chance to connect with his daughter, even if it was in a different form.
